Gates have been installed at each of the Summit Reservoir & Irrigation Company reservoirs

(Summit Lake, A.M. Puett Reservoir and Joe Moore Reservoir) to restrict access by trailered boats in an

effort to protect the reservoirs from the spread of the Zebra/Quagga mussels.


























Summit Reservoir & Irrigation Company is in agreement with other water management groups in the area and the Colorado Parks and Wildlife department that boating on our three (3) reservoirs will be restricted with the following exceptions:





Boating restricted to hand-launched craft Including:



Rafts, Kayaks, Belly Boats, Float Tubes, Canoes, Windsurfer Boards, Sailboards, Inner Tubes, Paddle Boards

and

Open Hulled Boat Designs That  Are Not Able to Store or Retain Water


Only Electric Trolling Motors Allowed





Violations of This Policy Will Be Subject to Citation By Law Enforcement Agencies
